At the time of my boyhood days in which I am studying VIII standard at Pratibha Niketan Residential School which was located at Machavaram, near SRR College Bust Stop in Vijayawada of Krishna District our principal Mr. Prasad planned a tour for our school children from 1st class to X class. Occasionally the school management conducted excursions to show various places for improving cordial relations and positive personality in the school children. So I also have given the name and paid the fee towards excursion. Approximately 100 school children wants to go for excursion to Madras to Kanyakumari with duration of 3 full days.
So the school management allotted seats numbers for us to remove disputes between us. My seat has been allotted beside seat of our principal. So I am little nerves because I have no chance to enjoy as I wish while travelling. But our principal motivates me to feel free various times.
So while in journey I have enjoyed so much along with my friends even sat beside our principal. We have completed site seeing of Madras, Kanchi, Sri Ranga Patnam, and other temples and beautiful places in two days. But the third day we reached Kanyakumari by early hours i.e. before sun rise. When I get down from the tourist bus, I wondered and I cannot believe whether I am seeing real or in sleep. Because a huge ocean which has no end in front of my eyes. There are lot of people reached to the place where we are waiting for sun rise in the bridge at the ocean. At that time I have no cell phone and no body using cell phone, because no body much aware of cell phones at that time. So our principal guided us to wait till sun rise. I cannot say in words how much I enjoyed at that time.
At the time of sun rise we have enjoyed so much because we never see the whole ocean became in reddish which we cannot see in movies also. Really I did not believe whether this is true or dream in my sleep. There are many other tourists beside us enjoying in various ways as they wish by shouts, laughs and also dancing. That atmosphere cannot forget for always. Still I remembering such scenery whenever I heard name of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the spot of 3 oceans mix together in different colours. It is the holy place for devotees also.
We decided to go for visiting the memorial rock called "Vivekananda Memorial Rock" placed in the sea. We went by ship for 15 to 20 minutes and reached the Memorial. We may see there is a huge statue of Swami Vivekananda from sea shore. When we reached the memorial of Swami Vevekananda rock we have got some positive feeling which cannot be explained. When I went inside I felt that I moved from one world to another heaven with peace of mind. That is the greatness of such spot. I felt I have no feelings in my soul when I spent inside of the memorial. That is cool atmosphere that every body definitely forgot their thoughts and feelings of outside and the soul became getting peace. Really I cannot say in correct words how I felt after entered inside the memorial. This is more enough for my excursion which gave mental peace which we cannot get any where. So every human should see this spot at least whenever possible in their lifetime.
Later we have visited several other spots up to evening and came back to our destination.
