I am owner of FZS V2 previously so I think I can best review this bike. So the story is after sold my favourite FZ, I never brought a bike again for 2 years and when I feel to have one, decided to go with Gixxer this time. The reason was simple. The new Gixxer looks more macho, so many new features, good power and huge discounts I got (almost 1.22lakh on road including 5 years insurance) in Aug 2021. So I feel this was value of my money. Also the Yamaha showroom I visited are rude, no great offers for MT15 or FZ etc, though Yamaha is my 1st priority when considering semi sports or street bikes. All these reasons leads me to consider Gixxer this time. Now come to my riding experience. The bike is agile, good power better in same segment, good torque, low cost considering others, low service cost as well. I don't have any issues with this bike when price, milage and power is concerned. The only issues I find is the balance, driving dynamics is very bad in high speed. Since I have owned so many bikes like Pulsar, FZ before I can feel this better. I don't get huge confidence when driving more that 90km speed like FZs. Yamaha Bikes are best in driving dynamics and balance. Even you feel confident after 110km in FZ but thats what I missing in this bike. I don't know technically how to describe it but Yamaha is better in speed riding. This Gixxer has more power but can't give the same confidence when riding. So if you considering this bike, get a test ride and ride it more than 70km and feel it. If still happy you can go for it.
