This movie is completely about the story of a script writer. Jis Joy's Sunday holiday has a story within a story, both of which are about working towards the dream without giving up.

The main character in this film is Sreenivasan, who plays as Unni, who works as a college lecturer, but it was his dream to become a script writer for movies. Though he faces so many rejection through out his life in script but he did not give up that very easily.

Director David Paul, which was played by Lal Jose, got admitted in the hospital and Unni uses this opportunity to tell his script to the director. While the director is least interested to listen the script, Unni uses all sort of tricks to the director.

There are many punch dialogues in the film that can remind us of our own life situations and even get we inspired. Deepak Dev is the music director of this film. He composed the songs in a very melodious manner, which soothes our mind when we are really desperate.

The songs Mazha Paadum and Oru nokku Kannuvan is a such a melodious song to hear in a very desperate mood which gives us a really relaxing sensation.

Sreenivasan as Unni, Lal Jose as David Paul, Asif Ali as Amal and Aparna Balamurali as Anu plays the major roles in this film. The presentation mixed with enough of humor by Dharmajan and Party.

There are times when you feel certain sequences aren't contributing much to the film, but they don't bore you out either. The climax is a bit delayed, slipping a bit from the dramatic, smooth flow it drew while constructing the story and it's messages.

This movie is a perceptive portrait of a film and that makes it quite unpretentious and feel good too. which makes it worth our time,
