If you know John Grisham's style of writing and like it .... DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOTread this book by any chance.

Grisham has lost his ability to mesmerize the readers with legal issues and have exhausted himself on the same.

Reading the gist on the paperback I almost ran to buy the book expecting some of the exhilarations we all relished in his ''The Firm'', ''the Pelican Brief'' etc.

The book starts with a promising plot but dies a slow death till the middle of the book. I still read the entire thing as firstly, I never leave a book unfinished and secondly and more importantly I was half expecting him to revive it maybe in the end.

Calling this book a total disaster and insipid would not be judging it harshly. I never expected this from a remarkable contriver of nerve wracking stories.

A let down in every way.
