IN MY OPINION:
Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is a movie based on pure social entrepreneurship. The journey of an honest man to becoming an entrepreneur. His humble character, down to earth nature and self-belief makes him rise from zero to become a celebrity. Though I agree that business is not everyone's cup of tea but yes, it's not an impossible task too, provided you put in your hard work, determination and a self-belief that you can achieve it.
Sui Dhaaga is a movie where you get connected with the story and your inner patriot rises inside and dares you to dream bigger. It's a film that is totally uncorrupted which makes it a delightful watch. Director Sharat Kataria, via Sui Dhaaga recognizes the true excellence in Bollywood's film-making.
STAR-CAST:
Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Raghubir Yadav, Yamini Dass and Govind Pandey.
PLOT OF THE MOVIE:
Sui Dhaaga marks the journey of Mauji ( Varun Dhawan) and his supportive and clever wife Mamta ( Anushka Sharma) . A hectic life and schedule ridden with heavy jobs, never ending household chores, an ailing mother, and an unsupportive father. Mauji and Mamta have bigger dreams to fulfill. They both together open up their own business. At the end, they participate in a power packed competition which is going to decide the future of Mauji and Mamta's clothing label 'Sui Dhaaga'.
PERFORMANCE:
Varun Dhawan is the show stealer for he is the one who has done justice to the character of Mauji being the main protagonist in the film. The honesty with which he has done his role and managed to bring it on the big screen is something that is worth pleasurable to watch. You won't deny my words after watching it. Supporting him strongly is Anushka Sharma who truly justifies her role ruling the big screen with Varun. A simple girl with a core made of mettle becoming the strength of her husband in his good and bad times, she is the backbone of Mauji, the woman behind his success. A fine chemistry with her husband that works out so beautifully that will make you smile on certain occasions and her tears on the other side is the strength of the movie. On the whole, both the actors have done a great work stepping out of their comfort zones. Raghubir Yadav and Yamini Dass supported them well serving as Mauji's father and mother.
MUSIC:
The songs are great and goes in flow with the storyline. It gives a romantic layer to the movie.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:
It was good enough to support the storyline.
MY SUGGESTION TO YOU:
Sui Dhaaga will urge you to think about the hard work done by the talented Indian artist's, India's traditional weavers and the dying industry of Indian arts and crafts. This is what makes the storyline very strong and conveying adding to the boldness thus making it very unique.
It's a heart-warming story with so much of emotions in it. A well-balanced movie delivering a powerful message that will help you in chasing your dreams and turn them into reality.
