This review is dedicated especially to all tenth grade C.B.S.E students who will be appearing for the board examination this year.
I must tell you how worried and tensed I was when I got into my tenth. I would like to share with you my experience I had undergone last year.
I still remember, on my first day of class X, I had made the decision o doing my work systematically and to study what all was don at school without keeping any pending work. Though this resolution lasted week or two I wasn't able to accomplish it thoroughly.
My method of studying was simple. I will detail about how I studied each subject, but before that I will give u a few other tips.
COSIDER THE BOARDS JUST LIKE YOUR NORMAL SCHOOL EXAMINTION.
Funny it might sound, but that is what you will feel after completing it.
Be calm and relaxed. There?s nothing to worry because if u put in a little effort it will turn out to be simple.
First I shall begin with what to do during each time of the year.
DIVIDING MONTHS:
1.June to October ? You will have to make sure that u do at least 2 to 3 hrs of study daily. There is no specific time (such as morning, noon, night etc). You can carry out your studies when ever you feel to. But make sure you study everyday.
Do not study just for the sake of studying, try to make it interesting (like making mini charts, discussing or reading more about the topics u dislike etc)
YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT ALL YOUR SCHOOL TOPICS SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY OCTOBER.
2.November to December ? Half of Nov. should be used for learning the portions u missed clear doubts, check whether you have completed your practical record etc
The rest of Nov and Dec should be spending on making NOTES. This is very important. During March you might not get time to read the whole text and this where notes will come into use.
Making notes means writing the whole chapter in a simple and precise manner ? in the form of points. (C.B.S.E always prefers answers given in points). So during the final revision u make u will just have to go through the points. Moreover it I said that it stays 3 times more in your mind if you write and study rather than just reading it.
3.January to February ?Collect as many previous board question papers you can get and practice them. Believe me it will really help. There are lots many advantages you can note.
1) Time Management ?Writing question papers will help to regulate your time and speed.
2) Pattern ?You can be well aware about the pattern of questions and can observe that many frequently repeated questions which are liable to be repeated the following exam as well.
3) Confidence ?You will become contended and happy after practicing about 10 to 15 question papers nd will gain confidence to perform your exam.
4.March ?Take a deep breath. You have completed your whole year?s course. Lets revise in steps what you have done by now ?Study, Re-revise, Clear doubts, Make notes, Practice board papers. Phew that?s a whole lot of work right. By now you will be clear with your topics.
During your study days (few days before the boards), donot break your heads trying to read the whole text of science social etc. This is where the notes u made will come into use.
Read the notes and memorize the points keeping the main text beside. This way you will be able to complete your huge portion in limited time given. Relax because you have done enough preparation all through the year, and hard work sure will.
With God?s grace, blessings of my parents and teachers and following all the above tips I was able to score 91% for my 10nth boards which took place last year.
This article hasn?t come to an end yet I shall stop here. I have also tips on how to study each subject, do u really require tuitions, how to make a mind to study etc.
If you guys require I am always willing to share.
In case you are contented then Best Of Luck, because I am sure you can make it.
