SBI is the biggest bank chain in Indian. It has Customers in every sector both public and private. I trusted it and opened a student account it is pretty good at the beginning days but in recent days it have announced that 5000 is Minimum balance and deducting penality if not maintained. Being a student I cant maintain that amount regularly so I was charged heavy penalities from this. It also charges for declined transactions so I do not recommend this to students or any individuals who cannot maintain this much amount.
Now Minimum balance is reduced to 3000 and Penality is also reduced 50% .Customer service is not so good. Remaining services like internet banking, ATM, etc. Were okay there are no back points in these services.
