My first every bank account ever was in SBI and since then I have been using that account as my primary account and I pretty satisfied with it. Internet banking and ATM availability is simply awesome, probably the best in the country.
Only one thing that led down SBI is its stubborn staff. All the old dumb staff who think that they are not just employees, not owners of the bank make this bank a bit bad to see.
Last year I faced the same problem which is faced by most of SBI customers, My new ATM card was somehow delivered to wrong address and when I requested them to issue me another Card, they said that I would have to pay even extra for the card because the other card was delivered to me( But I didn't receive any) . Even after 1 month of process, the so called'manager' started to behave like he's doing me some favour hearing my problem.
Now I had no choice but contacting the Customer care and file complaint for this stupidity. And guess what, The next I received a call from the customer care to hear my complaint. I told them all my issues and just the next day I received a personal call by the Branch Manager. He asked me if I filed any complaints against him and promised me to resolve my problems as soon as possible.
And within 10 days, I got my ATM card and PIN envelope easily without paying a single penny.
The customer care again contacted me to confirm whether my issues god resolved within time limit and without any headache.
So I suggest you to just send an SMS to the SBI customer care and enjoy the service you deserve.
