One more of my comprehensive reviews on a shoes brand which isn't well known among many but surely well known among many footballers. I used to play a lot of indoor football during college days, and I used to wear indoor sports shoes but after 2-3 months the shoes used to wear out. And then I started using canvas shoes as they were quite cheap and even if they wore out after 2-3 months it wouldn't matter.

Star impact shoes are basically into making football boots, but they even make indoor shoes which aren't much famous. Star impact brand is basically known for the cheap and best boots that they make. The design is quite basic and not that eye attractive but the boots are quite durable and cheap.

Cost: Rs 500/-

Let me start with the advantages of this indoor boot.

Advantages:

Durable: My Verito is almost 8 months old and still the sole is going great. Where other indoor shoes can't take it for 2-3 months of constant use, it's been almost 8 months with Verito in-spite using it roughly. High end brands like Nike and Puma may last long but we would pay thrice the amount of Verito. After every use I have a habit of washing my boot and maybe that is helping to increase the life span of the boot. The boots are quite tough and weather resistant.

Cost: The cost isn't high either as compared to other indoor shoes, as one would pay thrice the amount to buy branded shoes. And in local brand these shoes are the best. My review would surely help for users who wish to buy shoes among the local brands and who can't afford to buy the branded stuffs.

Versatility: These shoes can be worn many a places as in, Indoor games like rink football, basketball, cricket etc as well as one can use it for occasion as a casual wear as the look aren't that bad either. It can be worn at places such as gym, morning walk, jogging, trekking etc.

Looks: It's dark blue with a small strip of light blue on it and the pattern too is impressive. The advantage of having this is that it can be used as a casual wear also.

Tough sole: The sole of these shoes are very tough and don't get worn out easily. The sole is designed same as those of football ones except one change and that is, the knobs are very small and equally spread out and hence the shoes does not get worn out soon. The boots are rough use boots, but still a little care has to be taken in order to increase the life span of the boots. These can be used in rainy season also and in wet mud too. The shoes are very light and can be carried around in a small bag which one get free on buying this shoes.(Offer only at Franco Sports, Andheri). The comfort level of the shoes also is quite descent. Many sportsperson have started using this indoor shoes, it's termed as indoor shoes but can be used outdoors too. I would recommend everyone to buy these and try them as I have had a good experience using this shoes.

Some drawbacks:

These boots aren't available everywhere or at every sport shop. One outlet is at Andheri where one can buy these shoes(Franco Sports). If not maintained properly and no regular check on the shoes is maintained then fungus get developed inside the shoes and the inner sole starts stinking. But this happens if one stops using the shoes over 2-3 months and this would rarely happen.

Few precautions that I took after buying this shoes:

I stitched the shoes from the local cobbler. After stitching the shoes I applied grease on the shoes in order that the stitches don't get worn out soon.

Frequency of use: I almost use this shoes every alternate day, if not everyday.

I still remember my review on woodland and I couldn't stop praising the brand, this too is close enough to it if not equal or more than it. I thought of reviewing this shoes as there are reviews on famous brand but who cares writing about local brands?

Conclusion:

If your on a search for an indoor shoes in a range of 500-600/- STAR IMPACT VERITO is the one to go for. A totally value for money shoes and one won't regret after using it. Highly recommended.
