DO NOT JOIN IN THIS HOSPITAL AS THIS WILL KILL THE PEOPLE RATHER THAN SAVING THEM. EVEN CANT TREAT A SMALL FEVER.
Srikara hospitals(Kompally) are solely responsible for my mother’s death.
It happened 4 months back on September 23rd 2022, My mother was feeling little uneasy and was unable to eat anything during that day, keeping this in mind, I and my family had taken her to nearby clinic(Hayathi Clinic in Father Balaiah Nagar, Old Alwal) where one of the doctor has looked into her health condition and advised to take my mother to Srikara Hospitals Kompally.
After reaching there, she was taken to Emergency/Causality ward, Around Night 11-12 PM, my mother was moved to ICU.
Initially first day of the hospital they said my mother needed oxygen and kept her on Oxygen(15 Litres) and next day they diagnosed and said that my mother had lung infection(pneumonia) and third day they said Carbon Dioxide levels are increased and is not going out of the lungs due to thin lung pipes which happened due to lungs infection.
In Between 4-8 Days, they said my mother’s Carbon Dioxide levels are getting better, she is taking less external oxygen but now her kidneys are getting affected and they said she might need dialysis and also mentioned BP is not getting maintained.
In this mean time, we thought of taking second opinion as I didn’t have confidence on this hospital, even my neighbour had bad experience with this hospital with his dad, Even one of my Friend's wife had bad experience with this hospital, So we searched for couple of big hospitals and taken their opinion, Even we thought of shifting my mother to a good hospital in Gachibowli.
The Same 8th Day, My dad said that, doctors said to him that, my mother’s health condition is getting improved, so instead of moving her to new hospital, we thought of keeping her at the same hospital and getting treated.
After two days i.e after 10 days, my mother has been shifted from ICU to general ward(Separate room) stating that lung infection has been subsided(Cured).
We really thought that lung infection has been cured and our family was very happy on that news.
Almost for 2-3 days my mother was in General Ward and doctors said my mother can be discharged, we became very happy on this good news,
On Oct 4th 2022, my mother was supposed to get discharged, since my insurance was cashless, hospital insurance people are supposed to send all the hospital bills to the actual insurance company for approval, but here itself they delayed the insurance process and at last after telling for 3-4 times, they have finally submitted the hospital's bills to insurance company at 4.30 PM and they said it should get approved within 3 hrs.
But this didn’t happen and as the time passed during that day, we were making discharge arrangements for my mother at home, Since my cashless didn’t get approved after 3 hrs I was continuously having talks with my company insurance to get it approved, My mom completed her dinner by 9.30 PM, after that suddenly my mom was feeling uncomfortable backside near the spine and I called hospital maid to apply zandubalm as requested by my mom.
It’s almost night 11.30 PM, My mom was severely coughing. Me and my dad informed the nurse about the same, Want to bring one thing to notice is nurses are too much reckless and don’t even care about patients in need, the same to happened to my mother though my mother was continuously coughing these people called nurses didn’t even care after informing them and they attended after 20 mins after telling them, they kept nebulization and given her cough medicines which I bought from pharmacy.
During this time as it crossed 12 nights and still my insurance didn’t get approved, I told my mother that mom I will be back tomorrow morning by 8.30 AM and will take you home, as my dad was there with mother as it is single bed occupancy and also said that if any problem is there then inform the nurses there.
I came back home by 12.30 Night and early in the morning at 6.30 AM, I got a call from Dad stating that we will shift mom to a reputed hospital and also said that mom was taken to ICU at 4.30 AM early in the morning as she was feeling uncomfortable and having some pain on the backside of the body near the backbone.
I visited the hospital by 7.30 - 8 AM and by 8.30 AM I went inside the ICU to see my mother, before entering the ICU itself doctors have informed me that there are no hopes, this was the final time I have seen my mother alive on ICU bed struggling for life and I went near my mom and she has seen me and some of the tears from her were almost suppose to get rolled off her eyes, after seeing me with teary eyes. She was literally trying to say something to me but could not as those pipes and mask was there near her mouth and nose.
Even during that time, I told my mom that everything will be alright don’t worry, but I know what is going to happen as doctors said to me.
During this time, my dad and relatives were thought of moving mom to a reputed hospital from here ASAP, but doctors informed me that in next 10 mins she might lose her breath.
The same thing happened to my mom died at 1.45 PM on Oct 5th 2022.
In between I asked doctors what happened to my mother who was suppose to get discharged today; doctors said that due to lung infection my mother has died.
I again asked doctors how can my mother get this lung infection suddenly which was cured when she was in ICU and moved to general ward after that but the doctors didn’t had a clear answer to my question.
One thing we got to know that, first of all my mom's lung infection was never cured when my mom was moved from ICU to general ward, this is the only reason her infection might got increased and she collapsed. One more thing might also happen, when my mom was moved from general ward to ICU on the day of her death, the treatment which was supposed to happen in a correct way didn’t happen and she was not diagnosed properly right from the beginning.
If doctors would have diagnosed properly, today my mom would have been alive with us.
