We had booked tickets in Srilankan Airlines to Dubai from Chennai via Colombo as transit through your portal.


On the day of departure, we came to know that RAPID TEST to be taken outside the airport which is impossible because rapid test can only be taken inside the airport. There is no prior communication or details mentioned while booking the ticket. Even if mentioned in the ticket, it is an invalid request from your side because RAPID TEST can be done only inside Airport as per the government regulations.


You have tricked us into buying the ticket.


When we requested to provide an approval to take the test inside Chennai Airport, they said, "No we will not do it" and said, "You can cancel the ticket. Book tickets from Gulf country Airlines, then you'll be able to take the test inside and fly to Dubai".


When we asked them to write and give that we will not allow us to board us into the plane, then there was no response for 5 mins. We were informed that we will take Rapid test in SLK, they asked if I was a Sri Lankan, I said no. When my cousin said she is a Sri Lankan, the way of approach changed and checked with their higher official to board us in the plane which is very wrong because just because I'm an Indian, they have no right to discriminate me and being biased towards me.


They made us sign a release remnant form that we are doing it on our will which is not true because we did not miss any documents, it was their fault to issue a ticket where they have no authority to take a test.


Because of their fault, I had to $25 for on arrival which is not necessary for one day transit.


After all these commotions, we had to go through a new rule that pops after landing in Sri Lanka saying that RT PCR have to be taken again as per airline policy. So we had to take both RT PCR and RAPID TEST almost at the same time which makes zero sense and we were forced in a situation to pay 30, 000 LKR for their fault


Because of all these new policies pop up, we had to check in late. After that also they are asking that travel insurance is necessary or else we will not board you. If we ask if we can purchase a new one, no response from them. They didn't even treat us as a human being.
