Never had a very high opinion of Spiderman, I mean what’s the big deal, eh?Just because a genetically mutated spider bites you in the hand, you get some not-so-impressive super powers which include a lot of swinging around like some over-excited pendulum or fighting super-impressive villains(I would say they deserve more praise than Spidey!) and blabbering a lot of rubbish-like “I am Spider-man, didn’t you know that I am the sheriff of this area?”-I would rather prefer Superman or any of the X-men mutants or even Hulk(no, not Batman, he is even worse and not Krishh either, had too much of Men in Black!).The cartoon spiderman is always more adorable than the movie one!

But I can’t deny that I like Peter Parker-Tobey Maguire(the human self of the super-human-spider), a good boy who loves a good girl(Mary-Jane Watson – Kirsten Dunst)for God-knows-how-long, who didn’t use to listen to his Uncle Tom and Aunt May-Rosemary Harris, but now after his Uncle’s death, has grown more responsible, a good friend ofHarry Osborns’- James Franco(a handsome and rich brat!)who used to be a good pizza-delivery-boy and a somewhat useful photographer is much more likeable till he starts weeping like a kid at almost every second in a movie that you go for watching…

In Spiderman 3, we have Peter preparing to propose MJ but failing as he is too dumb to do it correctly and ashe is too engrossed in his own success as Spiderman* to care about her failure as a singer, but at long last(in the end)he manages to get her back.So we have four ultra-human people in this movie:

Sandman/Flint(Thomas Haden Church):**An escaped prisoner who later turns out to be the actual killer of Uncle Tom(Peter’s uncle…not mine or thine!), who accidentally enters a certain experimental procedure, when he breaks out of prison, where he undergoes a genetic change and becomes the sandman–who is much more likeable than Spidey! He is a little confusing-at the end of the movie he asks Peter to forgive him saying he never wanted to kill anybody, it all just happened as he was desperate to save his little daughter who was dying! *But then why the hell did he join hands with Venom to kill Spidey, huh, if he didn’t want anybody killed just for the sake of killing them?

Green Goblin(junior)/Harry:After the death of his father(green gobbly wobbly gobbler goblin–er it’s just the green goblin), *Harry Osborn(Peter’s best friend)and another one of MJ’s lovers thinks that Spidey killed his father and knowing that Peter is Spiderman, Harry is out for revenge…He first forces Mary-Jane to turn against Peter and then attacks Peter once more.Well I love the guy, so won’t say anything bad about him but yes he needn’t have to be killed in the end, wasn’t it bad enough already that his face was disfigured by the Venom-ous Spiderman?

Venom:Ah, the most interesting villain yet to have been seen in any of the prequels of the movie.Spider-man is suddenly attacked one fine day when his heart and mind were filled with hatred, for Flint(sandman), by a symbiotic black slimy thing which when it takes over someone is known as the Venom.Venom takes control of you only when you feel negative and removes all the goodness, pity, mercy from a person’s heart and gives vent to all the negative feelings, and it results in the change of guess what?Spiderman’s red-and-blue suit to a super-cool black one…but sadly Spidey realized what Venom was doing to him and he got it off him(and so went the suit along with my heart to never-mind where!).Then Venom took control overEddie Brock-Topher Grace, **an aspiring photographer who was also filled with hatred for Peter(because when Venom had taken control of Peter, Peter got him chucked out of his job and went flirting with Brock’s date(Stacy) just to show off infront of MJ)and wanted Peter dead, so Brock becomes even more venomous than Spiderman in Black-suit and decided to kill Spiderman and influences Sandman to join in the game and they kidnap kid MJ and we reach the climax.

Spiderman: He does a lot of showing off in the movie!I thought super-heroes were supposed to be saving people just because they love people and justice and righteousness etc., but here we see spiderman loving to show off infront of people who love him just pretending to show that he loves them as well(did I confuse you? Nevermind, I am just as confused!).Okay.so when he learns from the police that Flint is his Uncle’s actual killer, he is so filled with hatred for Flint that he attracts Venom to take control over him.He felt good and powerful because ofVenom. He fights with Flint and thinks that he has destroyed Flint but then suddenly his conscience pricks him that Spiderman isn’t supposed to go killing people, so he abandons his black suit. Then MJ on Harry’s proposition turns her back to Peter and he again starts using his Black suit to teach Harry a lesson. Now this is the time he acts weirdly- dancing all along the roads-trust me the moves were real disgusting and he completely changes from the good boy Peter to the bad boy Venom, he even changes his hairstyle(well I am of the opinion that his new hairstyle was cooler than the older one, though!)and then to top up all this, he hits *MJ, now the waitrees-cum-singer, so hard that she lands up on the floor infront of a whole restaurant filled with people. This makes him feel bad and he realizes what Venom was doing to him, so he gets rid of Venom with some difficulty and Venom finds another host in the form of Brock! Now I will keep my mouth-shut about the rest of the movie…I have already said a great deal!

The cast was well suited…Well I never liked Toby Maguire playing Peter Parker or  Kirsten Dunst playing MJ but other than that, the rest of the casting was simply great. The action sequences, especially at the end of the movie were just fabulous!Sam Raimi did a great job and seems like his hard work paid off…

Spiderman 3 is much more exciting than its prequels because here we see not only one single villain but three of them-even Spidey turns bad for sometime-so we see four of these filthy dudes who go on causing a lot of noise pollution, air pollution, water pollution and all other kinds of pollution you can think of! The only thing one might find demotivating is *Peter dancing like a psycho with his new cool hairdo in the streets, or maybe Spiderman performing a stage show and kissing Stacy infront of the whole city just for some publicity or maybe Peter crying so many times in the movie or maybe, er-let it be…I liked the movie overall, even more than the other Spiderman movies, so if you have time enough and if you love James Franco and if you do not love Tobey Maguire then go watch this movie as soon as possible…
