Money extorted at cost of father's life. Review on Specialist Hospital - Kalyan Nagar - Bangalore

I'm sharing this in a broken & devastated state that doctors, duty doctors, nurses, admin staff in Specialist Hospital systematically put father's life in a critical state with trauma for money & finally we lost father.

Please don't fall for paid or fake reviews on hospital facilities, equipments & ratings. If you don't want your loved ones to be killed for money then don't take them to Specialist Hospital, especially to gastro Dr. Sachin Shetty & general physician Adarsh Nayak, ICU drs.Sreeram, Bhargav.Praying they & their families get admitted here & suffer till end.

We are in the process of taking action against them irrespective of the outcome, as there may be other families who probably lost their loved ones or can avoid losing.We lost father after he was put through extreme trauma for money or he would have lived more years if we hadn't been there.We took father for an OPD appointment to get him checked for appropriate medical help with gastro Dr. Sachin Shetty who also sent us to Dr. Adarsh Nayak. We were pressured by both to get him admitted inspite of us opting to take him home with oral treatment and father was taken advantage off just for money. Dr. Sachin Shetty & Dr. Adarsh Nayak explicitly asked if we will be paying by cash or insurance & then asked for insurance limit amount, also if it's corporate or private. Why would doctors ask about insurance limit amount specifically?

Father's vital stats were normal, he was conscious, he had his meals, passed urine and stool before we came for the OPD appointmentAll his recent and previous tests reports were shared with dr. Sachin which included X-ray, Ultrasound for abdomen and pelvis, blood and urine tests. He examined father's rectal area for any obstruction and confirmed it was clear. We consulted for constipation and sodium level correction as it was low due to infection which could have been corrected orally. Father was already taking antibiotics as prescribed by Vascular surgeon previously for leg infection, which was healing slowly. He then said he wants to do further Contrast CT Scan of abdomen to rule out any mechanical obstruction but will want to correct sodium level first. He then said we can do oral sodium level correction at home but pressured we admit him for a day or two.

Doctors kept pressurising us to give them consent to kill father with pain killers after their so called tube insertion protocol that was forced went wrong which I signed & declined understanding the risk to father. But was still forced and carried out by ICU doctor Sreeram on instructions from Dr. Adarsh Nayak and Dr. Sachin Shetty leading to a cardiac arrest. Then they pressurised us to put him in ICU on ventilator or dialysis and aggressive treatment. They also tried to cover up in the discharge summary. They succeeded in extracting money till they exceeded the insurance limit & achieved their targets, even manipulating the final bill accordingly.

I had asked for discharge from Dr. Adarsh Nayak on morning of 2nd day of admission realising danger to father's life as he was in a worse state after admission. She kept insisting to insert tube to father without mentioning or explaining risks, but since I knew the risks I declined & signed for it & asked for discharge again in the morning but she said he will need time to write summary so was made to wait till evening but still father was not discharged.

Nurse Priya was hiding & stealing medicines from father's tray & using it for other patient thinking nobody was noticing her, hope your child is admitted in this hospital to suffer.

Night duty dr lady did not know difference between condom catheter & urethral catheter.Other nurse said they will insert Ryles tube as instructed for feeding, contradicting the doctors who clearly said it will be inserted for decompression.

Father's private areas were not cleaned daily neither by ward boy nor nurse, causing infection.They overcharge for highly expensive medicines, tests & extort double the price, whereas we can get them lot cheaper outside or get substitutes.
