Special 26 is a thriller movie directed by Neeraj Pandey who is well known for his excellent direction in the movie "A Wednesday". I am a huge fan of him and in this movie he provides a very good experience for the audience.
The story starts with Akshay Kumar(Aju) a CBI officer who calls a local police station and Gimmy Shergil is the inspector who attends the call. They raid on a corrupt politician's home and recovers money, jewellery etc and takes them. Anupam Kher is the chief of them
soon comes a twist and they are actually fake officers and rob people corrupt people as CBI.Manoj Bajpayee plays the real CBI officer who is after this fake gang. He makes a plan to arrest them red handed while doing a robbery and this is how the story goes to climax.
The climax has a superb twist which I liked the most and their we come to know why it is called SPECIAL 26.Kajal Agarwal has a small role as Aju's girlfriend and she has nothing to do with the story.The real perfromance is Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Gimmy Shergil. And in my opnion this is by far the best performance of Akshay Kumar. He plays his brilliantly this movie just belongs to him.
The music of this movie is good specially the song KAUN MERA sung by Papon. This song stays with us for a long time.
Neeraj Pandey has done an excellent job and this movie does not fall flat any moment and the script has a great potential.
I loved this movie and it was above my expectations and it is a must watch for everyone.
