I traveled in southerntravels for a Chardham trip which includes 4 holy places Yamunotri, Gongotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath temples.The travels charged 42000/- for that trip. They were only 23 people in one bus accoumpained by 2 guides. For the same people the travels charged less than 38000/- as there was huge discrimination saying they booked trip in another place. The only reason we got to travel in Southern Travels is they will provide south food. Other than the services are very bad from this travels. When I got to complain about it there were no person to listen. You cant just pointout one person as it was big travels. You just need to follow what they say.
The room which they provide were very bad even very small travels provides better rooms.The travels contain their own hotel in visiting place but also they gave lodging in some other hotels which is cost benefit to them .
The trip was 11 days and they gave me back seat in bus which is very uncomfortable.when I asked to alternate seats for some time no person is ready to share. Our bus is operated by guide and he says his duty is only to show places and describe them.
For helipad services in kedarnath they charged ₹10000/-.That service us provided by UTAIR where I got to know the actual cost is ₹7000/- on invoice.The travels try to loot money in every opportunity they got.
I suggest this travels only when you love south indian food orelse go with other travels give give value to customers.
