If you live in Malad and feel your stomach rumbling for some good old Indian Chinese food, let your fingers dial 8881771!
Soon Li is this little Chinese restaurant very close to where I live. It dishes out some really great food that's fresh, well made and value for money.
I have been ordering food from here for almost 13 years and have found the quality to be consistently good. ( though for year in between I must confess it dipped a little).
It's small place and doesn't have the best ambience really - just about 5-6 tables, dim lights. But if the FOoD is all that matters, definitely head here.
It's ideal for takeaway. They deliver to your doorstep free, if it's located nearby. Service is quick and I've never had to wait more than 20 mins of placing an order by phone. (But then I live really close). So typically if you live nearby abt 20-30 mins is when you can expect to get your food.
The food won't reach you with fancy plastic containers or spoons. But u don't get charged extra for them either!
Portions are quite generous and ingredients - such as the oil used, are of good quality.
Most everything on the menu is good, but here are my recommendations:
The Fried rice is nice and not too oily.
The Chilly chicken (dry) is quite delicious, so's the Garlic Chicken
American Chopsuey is the best I've had so far.
can't say much about the vegetarian food as I haven't had much of it.
