A week ago, one of my relatives gifted me this awesome music player. I opened the package and was surprise to see a mini BOOMBOX. I am a huge lover of MUSIC. I have used i-Pods and retro Walkman before also. But this SONY Walkman B series is something different. Here for simplicity, you get two things in a single package, one is the digital music player & other is the 4 GB pen-drive. And this increased my love for it, you can actually use your music player as a pen-drive, isn't that cool.! So I opened the package, I found a BLACK color Sony Walkman B series MP3 Player, a clip and a earphone. I plucked out the player and after reading instructions from the manual I tried to switch it ON, For few minutes, the Player didn't show any thing on is tiny LCD display. Then I thought that battery might have been discharged. So I turned on my laptop and connected the MP3 player to it and waited for an hour or less(as mentioned in MANUAL) and then the MP3's display glowed. I installed the setup in my laptop. Then I moved my songs from laptop to the MP3 player, it's just the same way you copy files to a normal pen-drive. I ejected the MP3 player, inserted my earphones in the music player and was shocked when it came to the music quality. The music experience was quite good.! I really didn't expect that much from Walkman after using i-Pod, but it proved me wrong. The LED encircling the Track Change button adds to the beauty It also has many other good functionalities like inbuilt sound recorder and many more.
I just disliked one thing and that was the storage, they should have added more space. And yes another one is SONY should have added a Bluetooth functionality for syncing music.
Overall its a fine MUSIC PLAYER and my personal choice has always been WALKMAN.
