Sony E Series laptops are decent ones. They are not highly configured out of the box but they are good enough to use for home browsing, entertainment and some professional work. After two years of use, adding RAM will be really helpful.
The screen size is good for watching movies. I heard some people saying that VAIOs are very delicate. However, thats not the case with my VAIO. I use my VAIO very roughly and it still survives. Never had a problem with my VAIO over the last 3 yrs. Never called for any service/repair.
