a cell phone just can't get better than this. this is a master piece. I know I am a bit late to review this. but still I won't miss the opportunity to share my 6 months experience with this fantabulous cell.
i was looking for a cell that has a gr8 music player, a very good camera, and enough of memory. after long long research and reviewing I finalized on SE w550i.
so lemme start with the pros.
1) the music player simply rocks. I have tried all the nokia models (6270, 3230 etc etc) but none of the phones match the quality. they are not even close to w550i. I have seen many people listening to music so loud with the earphones that whole class can hear. but I can bet that, with w550i no one can guess which song u r listening to.
2) user interface. I know there are many cell phone users who claim that nokia has the most user friendly interface. but let me tell them that they haven't come across any SE phone yet. its the simplest UI I have ever seen. one of my friend - a nokia 6270 user - also agrees on this.
3) battery backup. its just great. it will last around 3 days, if you use it quite extensively. otherwise it will last more than that. and when I say extensive it means at least 2 hrs talk, 2 hrs music player, 1 hr gaming everyday.
4) the camera is better than any other non SE 1.3 MP camera. I have taken quite a few snaps from it and its really really good. the camera settings are quite useful. the night mode especially. video capturing is also remarkable.
5) it comes with an extra set of skins. I preferred the blue one. I don't know any phone which gives this option free of cost. when you change them, you will have a new born phone in your hands.
now some cons.
1) the only drawback of this phone is the non expandable memory. but I knew it from advance and 256 mb is enough for me as I transfer my favorite music from my pc to phone as and when I feel like.
its really a value for money phone. no other phone would give these many features in this price. if you are thinking of this than just go for it.
