After quite a long time I am coming back to mouth shut to write a review. so far I have been only reader for last 5-6 months. ok cutting short....

the pleasent occasion for me to write the review

purchase of sony ericsson 750i handset

it was like a huge turn around for me from being a nokia user for past 3-4 years

all the 3100s, 3315s, 5100s, 6100s... the phone in my hand is excellent piece of technology and looks and convenience.

let me just categorize my points

1} looks... the first detail that any one goes. 750i has got one smooth brick like look which actually gives it a strong and sturdy look and in total black colour it looks awesome and the big screen in damn good.

2} features...everything is there, sms to browsing to games to bluetooth to music mixing and picutre editing... and I am yet to understand and start doing all those (its just 4 days old you see). but its full of features which would require a whole weekend to go thru and understand hehe.

The CAMERA I should mention here is one of the best in the mobile phone nowadays a 2mp camera which can give a landscape shoot or the various modes which is extremely comfortable to use and really feel like using a good quality camera. it gives 4 modes of pictures(normal, panorama, frames, burst), 3 sizes (16321224, 640480, 160*120), night mode, macro etc etc... The video capturing is also very good and the quality would ofcourse with the storage memory. with an expandable memory upto 1G (ithink it would go up to 2 g) what more you need!

3} user friendly...any person who had been using mobile for atleast 6months can easily play around with the handset and with the joystick its like gliding through the

phone.

4} audio...good quality sound. when radio is played even with the distortions its giving good audio clarity. I am yet to load any mp3 into it, but with what is there in the handset I am experiencing good clarity of sound.

Since the loudspeaker is in the back of the phone by the side of the camera the sound seems little lower but just turn around and see, its very audible.

5} other features...the slide cover of the camera is neatly tucked into the body and gives a little muscular look. the videodj and musicdj looked like good addons for those who are really interested. the themes are good, switch over from application to application is easier than nokia's, games are good and excellent clarity.

6} negatives... hmmm there are some nitty gritty stuff which I noticed when I was exploring the phone.

once I put the phone on charge, I cannot connect it to PC or cant connect the headset. all in one single point at the bottom of the phone. not able to connect to the PC is really a disadvantage I should say. They could have looked into this aspect by giving a seperate charging point.

next would be key pad I found it little cluttered... could be becoz I am still with my nokia which got stolen. not were bad but the key pad familiarization is needed I believe.

other wise I am satisfied with the phone, the range, the reception and audio clarity battery power (i have not tested hehe) and the camera.

In short I found it a VERY MALE phone, not smooth but neatly cut edges, muscular looks... truly male make
