The idea behind Snapdeal.com is good. But customer service is so poor in India. Snapdeal and the merchants they make deals with, are no exceptions.
I have bought two vouchers so far and regretted it on both the occasions. The first one was with a dance school where I had signed up for a 5 class package. From day 1, the dance school started pressurizing me to join for a 3 months package. The rude instructor said there's no point doing 5 classes and I should make up my mind after one class itself. I shouted back at him saying I wasn't the one who designed this 5 class deal. I felt so disgusted that I walked away. Then I had bought a voucher for Inspirations beauty clinic Bangalore. They have many outlets in Bangalore but only two are nearby. So I called them for an appointment. The first one (Koramangala) asked me to go to other branches, the moment they heard I have a snapdeal voucher.
So I called the outlet in Jayanagar. After the experience with Koramangala outlet, I initially didn't reveal that I have a voucher. They gave me a next day appointment. Then I had to tell them I have a voucher. Immediately the story changed and they said they didn't have a free slot till a month from that day!
Now I feel like an idiot having wasted money on these deals.
