This was my 3rd experience with Snapdeal. Previously I have purchased couple of items from Snapdeal. Both items were delivered in time. This time I ordered a Perfume from Snapdeal. Order id is 2637155362. Order was placed on 16th August and expected delievery date for the same was supposed to be 23rd August.


Till 25th August, when I did not received the product, I gave a call to snapdeal. They informed me that order was dispatched on 19th August itself and is pending with Blue Dart. I asked them the way bill number for the same. They told that they will SMS me the Way Bill number. After reminders, they did not send me the SMS of way bill number. Instead I just got the complaint number, which is 8779931. Today, i.e. 26th August, I called them again asking for Way bill number. They gave me the way bill number and contact details of Blue Dart Courier. When I checked with Blue Dart, they told me that the delievery is on hold due to Security reasons. I asked them what is the Security reason, they informed me that they received the product in damaged conditions. And since, they dint have my contact number they couldnt inform me. I called back to Snapdeal and informed the same. Snapdeal response is "Sorry for the trouble. We will check with courier company and resolve this ASAP. We will get back to you in 24 working hours." Then what the hell Snapdeal was doing from these many days? Its been 10 days, I have placed the order. Stil not sure when will I receive the order? And when I called blue dart to check, I came to know that Blue dart themselves got damaged product from Snapdeal. Not sure what sort of products Snapdeal is dealing with?
