Slidejoy is basically a lockscreen app which claims that we can make money from it. Today I want to share my experience with slidejoy app and how they provide the offers.
I installed the app from playstore seeing the reviews posted and the concept of earning from just unlocking screen and thus wanted to know how I could earn money from it. I downloaded the app from playstore and signed up using my email id.
After I completed the signup process I was taken to the home screen and it showed 20 carats for signing up. Initially I didn't knew much about these carats and how much money they offer. Later I came to know that 1000 carats would be equivalent to 1 dollar ( 64.8 Rs) . I was totally dissapointed. Gaining 20 carats for just signing up was a joke. Later I came to know that I have to make at least 5 dollars to redeem any money.
After signing up it shows advertisements or news story in my lock screen. It said that on sliding the lockscreen to unlock the phone it provides carats. But the amount of carats we would get was very low. There were other offers available in the apps earn more carats. I will expalin how each one of them works.
First one was referral offers. It provides few carats for referring friends. It is not of much use since only a few people would be interested in this app. So we wont earn much by referring friends.
Next there was scratch offers. I clicked on one of the scratch offers but it showed blank page. I closed the app and checked the scratch offer again and it said it was expired. I clicked on other scratch offers. Those worked but I could earn only few carats like 2 or 3. And after each scratch card I had to watch a advertisement video. It was a bit cumbersome. I scratched around 5 cards but didn't earn much. So it was just a time waste watching adds and scratcing to earn just few carats.
Next there were slidejoy games. I tried few games. Most of the games it was hard to make the said/mentioned high scores and sometimes the game crashes ( we would reach the home screen and the game process would be lost) . Some of them were too time consuming. It had to be installed and reached level 5 before we can earn the carats. And we could earn a bit good amount of carats from those games only. And the other high score making games offered only very few carats.
Next there were carats for downloading some apps and signing up in them. It was also a bit tideous since we can get few carats only and would consume a lot of data.
Finally there were surveys which offer carats on completion. But first of all I had to do 15 questions in order to unlock the surveys. I did those but whenever I chose a survey and after answering few questions, it would say I was not eligible for the survey. I tried to answer the same survey with other mentioned options, but that too didn't work for me. I tried around 3 surveys but all mentioned that I was not eligible. So survey option was also a big time waste for me.
So I decided to just earn the carats from unlocking the screen and see if I could make enough carats for withdrawing the carats as money. Using phone normally for two days, I earned around 100 carats from just unlocking the screen showing the adds. So when I calculated, in a month it could be 1500 carats. So it would take around 3 months to earn the minimum carats for withdrawing any money.
So the amount we can make from this app is very less and would take months. So I decided to stop using the application.
Final regards about slide share:
When calculating the time spent trying to make money with this app, it is not worth using this app. We can only make a few dollars in months. And if we try to earn by other offers too, it would be much more time consuming and require lot of internet also and those offers also don't work very well. So I don't recommend this app for earning money.
