Beware of SkillNation: A Scam Disguised as Education
I recently fell victim to what can only be described as a scam orchestrated by SkillNation, an online education platform. I enrolled in one of their courses, hoping to gain valuable skills and knowledge, but what I encountered was nothing short of a deceptive scheme designed to swindle unsuspecting learners.
Within 24 hours of enrolling, I requested a refund, only to be met with a cold response citing their inflexible refund policy. What's worse, there was no mention of any terms and conditions regarding refunds during the payment process, nor did I agree to any such terms explicitly. It's evident that SkillNation operates with a blatant disregard for transparency and fairness.
Let me shed some light on their deceitful practices. SkillNation charges a nominal fee of 99 rs for a 3-hour workshop. However, during this workshop, only half of the time is dedicated to actual learning, while the remaining time is shamelessly used to promote their overpriced courses, which supposedly cost lakhs but are conveniently offered to attendees for 12000 rs. This is nothing short of a bait-and-switch tactic, preying on the vulnerability of eager learners.
During the workshop, a certain individual named Navin Parmar employs manipulative tactics to create a false sense of urgency, repeatedly claiming that only a limited number of seats are available and that they are filling up fast. He extends the registration deadline multiple times, falsely claiming scarcity, only for the link to miraculously remain active the next day. It's a clear ploy to pressure attendees into making impulsive decisions without fully understanding the implications.
What's more alarming is SkillNation's practice of incentivizing attendees to write positive reviews in exchange for benefits. This flagrant manipulation of feedback further underscores their lack of integrity and commitment to genuine education.
I urge anyone considering enrolling in SkillNation's courses to think twice and steer clear of this fraudulent operation. Their offerings are nothing but smoke and mirrors, designed to exploit the aspirations of those seeking to better themselves. Don't be fooled by their flashy promises and deceptive tactics. Let my experience serve as a warning to all who value honesty and integrity in education. Avoid SkillNation at all costs.
