Decent Service. Review on Simplifly Deccan

Hi,

I wish to share my experience with Air deccan. I have to admit that my experience with them was pretty good. Although I have heard people complaining various things about them, this was my first person experience on Air deccan. I tried to keep off them because of lot of bad things I had heard, but this time I decided to use Air deccan.

I must first appreciate the wonderful and simple website they have developed for ticket booking. No stupid registrations, long clicks etc. just 2 click and ticker is booked. However I must say that they must have some kind of facility for me to re print the ticker after its booked first time. May be they should send it as an email.

After booking the ticket, I got a call from air deccan the day before traveling to confirm and remind me about the my flight time. In the evening I got a SMS also from them about the same.

Although, After getting into the flight I was shocked, when I realized that it was free seating and the seats were occupied in a way its done in a bus . That was a embarrassing part of the whole journey.

The in flight paid food options were not too impressive and felt it was a little high, probably because coffee day was the vendor where a ordinary tea also they will charge exorbitantly .

Overall I think they offer a good value for money and specially when the travel cost me only same as a train journey. It cost me only 1500 Rs to fly to Mumbai from Chennai- inspite of having booked ticket only 10 days in advance( only difference was m y travel plan was flexible and I chose the date with lowest fare
