More often than nought, I have come across people who will crib unnecessarily about this airline, yet when it comes to cheap airtravel, they will still fly deccan. Reason, its cheap.
For me, it is cheap, yet a cool flight. I have flown with Air Deccan quite often.I have flown from Mumbai to BLR, to Chennai & back, to Nagpur and back. Neven once have I faced any problems with this.
True, with deccan, they dont have fixed seating, but hey! u want a good seat, stand at the counter from the start.
They are quite competent too. I do get regular SMS, follow ups from their call center team, and they never have been erroneous. More often I have seen that their flights are delayed as a result of circumstances beyong their reckoning.
At the airport too, I have seen that their folks do come a calling the passenger at the time of the flight, unlike Indian Airlines/alliance air, who dont give a 2nd look.
On the flight, their crew is quite courteous too.If they look a litlle flustered, its cause our fellow travellers fell it their right to harasss them paging them at the littlest of reasons.
All in all, the flights are good enough. And thats why I say, if u dont like them, there are other flights available. Take those.but perhaps u might find something there that is not perfect for your likes.
I wonder, then as to where does the actual problem lie? Hmmm! I wonder.
