Let me put my story here.
I'm holding Simpl account for at least 3 years and till now it was working fine with making regular transactions and make the payment on time.
But Yesterday on 6th June 2023 an horrible experience happened that using my Blinkit(Subsidiary of Zomato) account they ordered products worth of 25000 in 4 orders and all payments was made through simpl as my full limit with Simpl was 25000 available as I used to make payments on time.
While I checked with Simpl why my account debited with 25000 without I'm approving the transaction using the OTP from my mobile(Which In fact I've not received any OTP for all 4 orders), they pointed the finger to check with Merchant which in this case Blinkit and it is subsidiary of Zomato. When I checked with Blinkit they informed me as the payment was successful the order was delivered to the contact. When I further checked with Blinkit, I came to know there was a new mobile number added to my Blinkit account and that number was used for all further activities without my knowledge.
Seems Simpl, Zomoto and Blinkit(Grocery of Zomato) are in partners with these scams/fraud activities. Be careful and block your account with these apps. They are really chors.
