Hotel and tour package service of sikkimtaxi is not professional at all. We went for Darjeling/Sikkim tour after negotiating package modalities with Bidyut karmakar. The charges looked reasonable, however, they handled us badly.
After reaching new jalpiguri, we were put into a car. Looks like the car driver was unhappy with sikkimtaxis, hence he dropped us long way from hotel. After reaching hotel, we were informed that we were not booked a room!!! We called bidyut and then they talked and we got.
This was not all, but beginning of our ordeal . They threatened us to hand over all package tour money at many points and refused to listen our complaints.
There were many heated discussion with Bidyut over phone( you should keep atleast 2000 rs for phone talk!!) and he literally said that he would abandon us at kalimpyong !!!Overall, service is 1 out of 5 . Avoid them at any cost if you want your tour tension free.
