My experience was very bad. I took all the permissions of Bhasm Arti. While taking permission the staff managing que was very bad, the person who was issuing the permission was very slow it took me 2hrs.to get my permission on paper. Then I got up at 12 am in the morning so that I can offer water to the shivling wearing a dhoti as suggested in the permission paper. For virtually 3 hrs I had to wait in there waiting hall just to offer water to the shivling. Once they started sending us inside after a long wait. The staff managing the que for entering in the garbh grah for offering water to the shivling was the worst behaved staff. This fellow was pulling people's dhoti just to see whether it is stitched or not, since I did not know how to tie a dhoti I arranged a stitched dhoti and went wearing that inside the temple. But this mandir committee member pulled me out and said. Stitched dhoti is not allowed and pushed me rudely out of the que. I tried to tell him that this specific condition is neither mentioned in the permission letter and neither in your website but this committee member instead of listening to me patiently started shouting and pushing me rudely saying "I don't care what you say" So guys, I wasted nearly 5 hrs to offer my prayers and water to the mahakal shivling With all permissions and dress code yet I was kicked out just because of a dhoti which did not fit in sick rules and regulations. I am feeling ashamed to be a Hindu today.
