http://www.shortz.in, I came across this website when I was searching for some good Indian short-film submission websites. The contents and the Website attracted me at first instant. I enjoyed some of the short-films featured on it.

There is really a good collection of Indian short-films. The award winning short-films like 'The little terrorist' and 'Rahim murge pe mat ro' were one of the best short-films featured on this website.

The description available about the camera used for filming, duration of film, cost of production, synopsis of movie and few words by directors are really helpful, if you want to know more information about the films. But only thing which I really hated about this website is.Shortages of languages. They claim to be 'all indian' but I thing this website is totally dedicated to South India. Ofcourse Bengali and Hindi has to be there as 'Bollywood' and 'Hindi films' are synonyms, and Bengal is the mother of literature and artists like Satyajit ray, Shyam Benegal etc.

But how can you forget the language of 'Father of Indian Cinema' Dadasaheb Phalke'?? Why 'Marathi' short films are not included in it?? What kind of 'Racism'' is it?? Or is it a technical mistake?? Not only 'Marathi', the website doesn't have many language films on it?? Are film-makers of regional languages not looking for platform? Or is the Website owner only interested in keeping the website restricted to only few Indian languages. If that is the reason, they should mention it on their home-page.

If you believe you are 'true' Indian, you should respect all the religions, languages, peoples in India.Jai Hind !!!
