I ordered a clock on rediff shopping, and since then my trouble started. After paying for the product, I found that I have been slightly overcharged, but decided to let it pass since the clock was a good one(so it seemed).
The delivery time was mentioned as two weeks. However even at the end of the third week when the clock did not turn up, I contacted the customer care. After repeated calls and follow up, the product was delivered. However, when I opened the package, I saw that one of the hands have come off.
I again contacted the customer care for a replacement. I was promised that the replacement will be provided in another week, and I was not surprised when nothing turned up after the deadline passed. Another series of calls and emails, and then I was informed that the product was out of stock and I will be provided a refund.
I finally got the refund but it was a very harrowing experience that I had with rediff shopping. The customer care did apologise on every instance of communication, but that was all that they could do.
Verdict: Stay Away!
