Below is my experience with Shopper's Stop, Rajouri Garden New Delhi , which I escalated to their Customer Care through email but no one replied on same shows how much they care for their customers so the question is Why SHOPPER's STOP
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am a regular shoppers at your stores for last few months but the experience is never been so bad what I experienced on last Wednesday 16 Feb 2011
I spent over an hour to shop and when I went to the billing counter at 1st floor (near Men’s Section) I stood in a queue on one counter (the right last) one and there was only 2 peoples in front of me and all of sudden the billing executive told me that this counter is going to close so I should move to the next counter.
I moved in queue of next counter and again when my turn came the executive told me that this counter is going to close so I gain moved to next counter.. and I spent over 15 minutes waiting on two counters and turned to the next one
Now on third counter when my turn came I was not carrying me Shoppers Stop First Citizen Card (I will give you reason why it was not with me below in this email) and I asked executive to redeem my rewards point, she refused it bluntly which was not at all expected that your people can be so rude with customer.
That after throwing me from two counter this is how I am been treated..
Now why I was not carrying my card , My initial card was misplaced/lost and I came to your Rajouri garden store near Diwali last year and visited your First Citizen desk for replacement of card and they told me there is no need for replacement since my membership has got upgraded and I will be getting new card shotly, now till date (after 5 months) I have not received the card, so how can I carry the card.
After all this I visited to your First Citizen Desk again to check out the status of my card but they failed to give any answer on same and asked me to give the proof of my identity and I shown them my driving license and they took photocopy of same and asked me to sign the same when I asked them why they are asking for it I was been told that they will get the points redeemed .
Now my concerns are
a. if you have such process how your billing executive refused to do so (and that too with so aggression) why she didn’t guide me.
b. Do you people have some sense of privacy of sensitive document that you can ask anyone to furnish the signed photocopy of their documents.
I also asked that I want to see the store manager to raise my concern or give me the complaint book so I can lodge my concerns but store manager were so busy that she/he was not available to attend me and instead sent an gentleman Mr Gupta who claimed to be the departmental Head but he was of help.
I will never ever visit any of your store in future where people don’t value the customers. I am also going to post this incident on various online forms so people should know your real face.
