Last sunday I had been to santacruz to meet one of my friends. We decided to have our dinner at shabari restaurant near the station, but once we reached der, there was lot of crowd and we were told that it would take atleast 45 mins to get a seat. So the only other alternative was Shiv mahal which is just outside the station
*Here are the pros & cons of the restaurant:
Location: The location of the restaurant is not too good. Just outside the restaurant there is one public toilet and also being close to the station the crowd coming in is not very decent.
Ambience:The ambience is just strictly ok, nothing great about it. There is a AC and a non AC section. There is a sitting area outside too, so it can accomodate a good no of ppl. The decor is kind of dark, although not very dark & not really appealing
Food: I would suggest u try the Pav Bhaji or any other north indian dishes. Pls avoid chat items like sev puri or bhel puri coz the quality of sev was very poor. U can also try the milkshakes & beverages like tea & coffee.
Price:The prices are quite reasonable and thats the good point of this restaurant. They are not very exuberant just what a common man would look for.
Service: The service provided is quick but there is no dress code for the waiters.
Overall I would say u can go to shivmahal if ur really really hungry and want to grab a quick bite.
Kindly rate my review and comment on it.
