Sharp was a pretty new brand to look for Air conditioner.It was launched many years ago I don't know the exact date but it was sold on the name of power efficiency!
I looked many brands before going for Sharp 1.5 ton air conditioner.
At that time none of the air conditioner brand were using the latest Refrigerant R410A which was meant to save the environment.
Coming to the Air conditioner I must tell you that I have 3 AC in which 2 are window Ac of voltas brand and 1 Split sharp Ac.
You know what Sharp is the oldest of the 3 and also the most durable and reliable, power efficient air conditioner in the house!
During these 7 years I haven't faced any issues.What so ever.
The PCB or u call it electrical circuits of the Sharp ac never failed in last 7 Years till today March 2020! What a Reliable Product!
It was on regular service.
Just refrigerant filled and body cleaned.
I personally use this AC in my room.
I use it 10 hours a day.
I have experienced that it doesn't die like my Voltas brand Ac which was just 3 years old got a problem of internal circuits u call as PCB Damage because of heat!
That's where the reliability and durability stands out!
The cooling of this Ac is pretty awesome.
I will not say to install this in a big hall as its just 1.5 ton only.
But a 10 x 12 Room its enough for this.
Just tell the dealer about your room in which u want to install.
U will not feel any compromise when its cooling because it will make u chill with its quite feeling.
And yes don't get confused in the name of inverter Ac.
You can't run on your home inverter
It means it uses that much electricity that an average inverter uses to recharge.
Coming to the electricity bill
At first my bill was coming ₹; 500 when using it for first month.
Gradually my usage increased to 10 hours and my bill was just ₹; 700 a month pretty cheap huh!
But.But.But.
It kept on increasing as the year passed.
From ₹; 700 to ₹; 1200 a month.
You are now thinking then what's the point of power efficiency!
Let me tell u
The Air conditioner was doing its best to Cool and Save Electricity!
But these electricity supply companies raise their per Kw prices that efficiency in today's date is just a dream for many!
But the truth is.
Other Air conditioners who were making people pay ₹; 2500/ month electricity bill at that time when I was paying just ₹; 700 now they are paying ₹; 3500 to get the same cooling.
It's not Air conditioner's fault its the electricity boards which increases the price of electricity every year!
That's why these companies try lot harder to impress u with the efficiency but they can't do anything when electricity price rises.
That's what upsets me
But Overall if you are looking for a Reliable, Durable, Excellent cooling, Power efficient ( only if electricity price don't rise) 1.5 ton Air conditioning Split then Go ahead with Sharp AH - XP18PHT.

Its the Best AC money can buy!
Don't go for Gimick features like wifi Ac or something like that.
Go for a long term Durable, Reliable AC.
Speaking about after sales service I got it from the dealer itself!
Just ask the Dealer about that!
Before Buying if they provide that go forward with that dealer.
I Highly Recommend if you are looking it for One Time investment.
