A few months ago I received an advertisement for Scientific America in the mail and decided to give it a try.

My family is the curious type and love learning about things so I knew this magazine would be a hit in my house.

Example

The March issue just arrived and it is full, as usual, with interesting articles. There is not much advertising and you can actually pick up the copy without all those cards trying to get you to do this or that falling all over the place.

The March issue has a wonderful article on Anthrax and the new Antidotes that are available as well as information packed articles on Child Abuse and the impact it has on the brain. It also has a very interesting article on entitled The Worldwide Computer.

Overall

This magazine is a wonderful teaching and learning tool for all ages. I home school both my children and my oldest has thoroughly enjoyed reading and studying this magazine. If you would like to check them out online, you can visit them at https://sciam.com
