It wasn’t easy to find something that I really despised, until I hired Scary Movie last night.
What an absolute load of drivel!
As far as movies go this should stay in the dusty archives of some nearly made it Ed Wood B movie director, who committed suicide when he saw the premier of this in his home movie feature!
Lets give you the stats first, as they are possibly the best things about this movie (ugh, I cringe every time I have to call this a movie)

Seriously though, it started like Scream 1, it ended like scream 1, and it had Scream 1 in the middle!
As well as taking a pop at other scary movies, it failed to impress
Standard school kids, sex, booze, murder and cheerleaders for good measure.
Friend gets murdered, suspicion lies on everyone
Dooey, the delinquent cop is portrayed in a slight, over the top, mental disposition. He seems to enjoy doing pooh in his pants!
Every scene is a total rip off of more classic spoofs, such as airplane, naked gun and police academy movies.
In fact I must hold my hands up and say that there was not a real original or funny joke in the whole movie. I do not want to sound totally negative, but being a huge Scream fan, a I know what you did last summer fan and an urban legend fan, I thought this would be realistically funny and scary movie, as its title suggests.
What it was, was boring!
Scream was only a 15, this an 18!
That is because the critics knew that the humour would cause some people to feel extremely offended!
I will finish on a positive, and that is the movie is only 87 minuets long.
If you have not seen it, don’t
If you have, you have my sympathy.
