Scandalous by Candace Camp. This novel is a sort of 'long ago in a small town in Britain' type of a novel.

Novel starts with one of the strangest situation I have ever read. There is a knock on the door and Pristilla goes open it and there she says a completely naked man on her door. I don't want to disclose the further secrets, but I can say thats a nice story. Neatly carved out chapter wise. It looks like it was well planned before writing. There are 21 chapters comprising 385 pages.
Ok there is a bit story, I think I should be a bit lenient. So that naked man comes at Pristilla's door and crumbles down and faints. Pristilla takes her inside, he is injured at his head and when he awakes he has lost his memory. Whole story both of them try to find out who is he actually and why was he kidnapped by two men who hurt him on his head. During this time they fell in love and love unseparable from lust cover their minds and hearts. Finally how they find out who were the two kidnappers? Why they kidnapped him? And who actually is he? Why did he, an American, came to Britain? Thats the rest of the story.
