State bank of India has launched this app which is based on the Unified Payment Interface mode.
Sbi is one of largest public sector bank which has introduced this app after the commercial banks has introduced ahead its banking services through the UPI mode.
The concept is good which is very easy to use without the need of one's account number or ifsc code or branch, the user has to create Virtual payment Address with the bank linked to the account.
So, its easy to transact with VPA using UPI mode which provide instant transfer of funds from the account to other.
But coming to SBI pay app its totally different scenario. This app requires all the data access and location access to work and then it does not open.
later much trying it opens but not function properly, every time the Sbi pay app shows communication error instead of having good data speed and wifi connectivity and it does not perform well.
Every now and then this App is updated which is making it worse day by day.
When there is an urgent need then this App acts weird .
please dont use this app for your good.
