It is a good place to see the Asiatic lions in wild. We have visited to Gir in January and enjoyed our journey.


Best time to visit Gir sanctuary is Winter between Dec to March.


Hire a jeep over there for the morning or evening and you will spot the Lions in its natural habitat.


Lots of new hotels have also come for stay there.
