We have been regular customers since February 2019, giving Santé several lakhs of revenue, mainly as we ran out of options as Pune lacks of vegan/vegetarian only restaurants with good customer service.
On Thursday 12th December the manager Rajendre throw us out instead of apologizing when we asked for money return as we found out two days earlier by coincidence that we have been charged unknownly often too much for several dishes.
UNHYGIENIC FOOD
1.We had a crawling caterpillar in one of the Bombay Grilled sandwiches. We showed it to the owner Sonal and there was no apology nor feeling sorry for it. Instead we got used rotten cookies where one of the cookies was already halfway eaten.
We can provide video recording of the moving caterpillar as proof.
2.We were not fast enough for taking a photo/video of the employee Nitesh taking with his bare unwashed hands - instead of the provided cutlery - fruits from the breakfast buffet to prepare a bowl of fruits for a customer of the connected MINT hotel.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
1.We found out that we have been charged more than what is written in the menu for different dishes unknowingly often. Fortunately we found some recent bills. Telling the manager Rajendre that we have been charged multiple times too much he lied to us by claiming it happened only once. Showing him the bills instead of apologizing he said "don't come here again". We can provide audio recording as proof.
2.For some time we ordered via Swiggy to avoid the moody employees. We got oversalted and overspiced food despite double checking both via phone call before and via Swiggy. When we called there was no apologizing, no money refund offer nor any other sign of compensation for our money loss. Santé repetitively showed no interest in customer service.
3.Never have we been asked how the food is. This is one of the most expensive restaurants and in any other restaurant in this price area it's part of the customer service to ask the customers how the food is. Instead we very often got the food with ingredients we clearly mentioned we are allergic against. If you are regular customers who have been there several times on a daily basis for weeks eating almost the same dishes every time, this is quite annoying and bad customer service.
