Too many thoughts.
okay first - THE RANBIR, I had always been a fan of his work, but this movie and his camouflage of being Sanju is just hard to describe butt to this Dutt, honestly will try.
Ranbir as an actor gets full points 5/5 without a trace of doubt, his skills are at complete display and at almost perfection(open threat to Aamir Khan). I would watch this movie for Ranbir`s acting first and then for Sanju`s story. The way movie came out shows meticulous planning and preparation of both the director and Ranbir.
The director now, not much to add, entire nation knows about those idiots still making us laugh till we drop. Those heart wrenching emotions putting them to display could have been possible only with Rajkumar Hirani, those efforts to scoop out every possible emotion between a father and son, how a father desperately yet being calm wanted his son to live life, a disciplined one indeed and not rub him with atrocities money can buy. Equation sanju had with every person shown in the movie was absolutely palpable, comedy timing pulls an exclamation.
After watching the movie, I am sure we all will look around or if we have gone thru it already, we will recall the incident of being there for someone who had gone astray, who we would have wanted to live a normal life, be happy and not be a slave to alcohol and drugs. How a best friend can help, nurture and give a hope for a drug addict/addition to anything bad, that he can overcome his/her problem and get back to normal life.
Every scene kind of sinks inside you as a person, movie not only showcases certain evils we have around(not to be precise) but how accusations, assumptions can be a perfect recipe for a happy and normal life to be pushed, punched and destroyed beyond healing.
Over all, respect to baba for having gone thru so much, learning from his countless and continuous bad choices and instead of calling quits(which many people do and think is easy) bounced from those bad choices and is leading a happy& respectful life.
RIP Sunil Dutt, reverence Sir!
Go, watch this movie, with family or without, learn if you can, lead a better life.
