" Acceptable food with dirty interiors ". Review on Sangeetha, Vandalur, Chennai

Well we visited this hotel last week when I was on my way back from my Village(Thindivnam). Well usually we decide to take food at Alreef(Non Veg), Keelkattalai which is located closer to our home.  But with that particular trip we were not supposed to enter any Non Veg Hotels(some Rituals my mother follows).  So, while Travelling back home, it was about 7 pm and that was the time we arrived at Vandalur and hence we only had the option of taking food at This "Hotel Sangeetha".

Since it was 7pm and was too early for our dinner, we decided to take up parcel, rather than eating there.

• Location -

The Hotel is located right opposite to Vandalur Zoo(not exactly opposite but few meters before the vandalur junction).  Its easy to find.

• Why we stopped here -

The other main reason why we stopped here is because its Sangeetha, The hotel Brand which we prefer next to Hotel Saravana bhavan in Row of Vegetable hotels in Chennai.  Hence, We wanted to try this Branch of Sangeetha hotel too.

• Parking -

The hotel has good parking facility outside the hotel with parking assistance.  Well, Parking at most of the highway based hotels are basically not a big problem at all.  So yes, its a tension free Parking there for all types of cars from nano to endeavor.  And yes, all these highway based hotels have parking assistance for sure.

• Food -

Food is okey here.  Acceptable. I mean food does not taste the same as compared to the Chennai based Sangeetha hotel, hence I doubt that is a fake Sangeetha.  But since the food was not bad as it is used to be at hotels like A2B and Hot Chips, we could possibly agree to the originality.   Well but we didn't have any options either.

The Food we purchased were -> Uthapam for my mom, Podi Dosa for my bro and Soft Noodles for me.  All tasted okey, the reason may be because we took parcel. May be if we would have taken the dinner there, the food may have taste better.

• Ambiance and Interiors -

The other Main reason why I doubt that its a branch of Sangeetha Hotel is because of the the Interiors.  The Ambiance was Worst, pretty Dirty.  The Lighting was as close as a normal Local Hotels found everywhere and not like the City based Sangeetha hotels.   The Hotel has no A/C either.

This is also why, we decided to take parcel from there instead of eating.

• Serving and Pricing -

We I have no idea about food serving because we did not dine food there.  But the parcel serving was pretty fast, about 10 minutes. So I guess the Customer service is pretty okey.

The Pricing of foods is nominal, may because the hotel looks like a normal hotel.

• Others -

Well outside the hotel there is a organic store(Apologies, I don't remember the name of the store).  It was big store with full of organic products. Hence, after ordering our food at hotel, until the preparation time, we did not waste our time and decided to shop at that Shop and even purchased some products from there!

Verdict -

Overall The hotel is Okey to visit for quick eating.  May be best suited for evening tea and snacks too.   But the hotel is not the best and is not fully recommended.
