I'm writing this review after some months of purchase and I'm quite happy with the flash drive. I have used it with Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Tab S2. Here's what I liked and what I didn't.
What I liked -
USB 3.0 Read - 144 MB/s / Write - 40 MB/s(32 GB version)
MicroUSB(connected to smartphone / tab) - Read - 28 MB/s / Write - 20 MB/s(32 GB version)
Small in size.
Not as expensive as Corsair.
5 Years Warranty. In case anything happens, SanDisk customer support is great.
Light weight.
Doesn't heat up after extended use.
What I didn't like -
Very thick at 11 mm(others like Transcend, Corsair etc, are below 8 mm)
Build quality - It's not a solidly built drive and feels kinda cheap. The sliding switch one has to use to switch between USB 3.0 and MicroUSB is not so great. Feels like you might break it upon more pressure, if applied.
The design too is not so simple and elegant(Transcend and Corsair have a better design). The sliding switch to take out ports gets annoying at times.
When you insert either MicroUSB in your phone / tab, or USB 3.0 in PC / laptop, the port of the drive slightly pushes inside upon insertion. You have make sure the port is completely out.
Might have issue inserting it in phone or tablet with a thick case. Thin case will be fine. So think about it before you buy!
An inclusion of neck strap would've been great.
Conclusion - If the cons of this flash drive don't bother you much and fast transfer speeds is what you need, then you should definitely go for it. The flash drive is great. SanDisk is a great brand. If you think the cons mentioned above bother you, then you might wanna look elsewhere with Transcend, Corsair, Strontium etc as other brands. Good luck!
