I had used this phone for a year. During the time of purchasing, first I tried nokia 6610i since I was the trusted consumer of Nokia. But when I saw the display & camera pic quality of Samsung X600, I was simply bowled. Without a doubt I bought this Samsung X600 becoz both Nokia has same price. After one year of using this mobile following are my observation:-
The display is superb, can beat any handset in the category.
The quality of the camera pics are superb....
The inbuilt memory is 9MB that can store upto 100 photos. ( I had taken around 110 photos during my rishikesh trip & all pics have good resolution)
Provision of locking your Picture folders & MMS folders also. This is very important function to save ur privacy from others. Now I have sony ericsson W550i which doesnt have this option which I m mising very badly. Trust me friends this folder lock is very useful to protect ur folders from others.
Can easily accomodate around 200 sms in ur phone.
The ringtone are polyphonic but the volume is not that high. Thats its drawback....
The display is very bright.....you can use it as a torch in darkness. I generally use the display light as torch while coming home late. Very bright display. But downside is it will consume your battery power also.
8..The battery life is just for one day. I heard that samsung phones battery life is not more than 24hrs becoz they have the best display.
9..Sometimes you will irritate becoz of the antenna on the phone. But some good things comes with bad things also...So just tolerate it friends..
I used this mobile for one & a half year. I simply used it fully, utilising & enjoyed all its features & found no complaint at all except low ringtone volume & shorter battery life otherwise phone is fantastic.
Currently the price would be around 8k & its good bargain also.....
