Before all I was a diehard fan of Samsung and bought so many products with out thinking twice, this Invoice attached again show my belief in this brand as it carry Refrigerator and washing machine together
Bought on 2011, February and till this time both these device showed many issues and I spent money on 3 bills on various dates.
Last April onwards my Electricity bill doubled and I checked each and every equipments and finally concluded my Refrigerator is the culprit . Immediately I raised a complaint and after 3 days a samsung executive came and inspected machine and concluded that there is an Internal Gas leak which is beyond the scope of service and as far us Its still in compressor warranty Samsung will refund the amount, He said.
I waited for 2 weeks and no one came, started continuous follow ups on their toll free number( 1800 3000 8282) and after a series of struggle One senior Executive Involved in my case and Concluded they can maximum refund 15% of its cost which is around Rs.1500
I Asked them Minimum refund 50% as the refrigerator is on its 4th Year only. They refused my request and I asked them to return my device to look whether any alternative service is possible, Till Now they didn't return my machine and My family is running out of refrigerator for 4 weeks just fr the reason its a samsung
My Questions .
Is a refrigerator from a leading brand like samsung is designed for 4 years?
What they meant by refund, 10% is not reasonable from any angle
Why they hesitate to exchange this with a New one apart from refund?
Why the Gov is not looking into such an issue when Refrigerator was eating Rs.1000 Equivalent Electricity for 7 months.
And for me and for my immediate circle It is a mass good bye to Samsung
