I bought Samsung Galaxy Star Pro GT-S7262 phone in 2013 during my college time in Rs 6500 . It was my first ever smartphone and being a samsung brand phone I bought it . I have used this phone for 4 years and still I am having it but now it's just for receiving and calling purpose . Now, no other work I do with this phone although it's a smartphone, beacuse of its hanging problem . Initially 6 months the phone ran smoothly and had no issues but after that the phone became slow in response and phone started hanging . I have to wait for few minutes just to open any app or even while calling it took 1-2 minutes .
Sound reception is good of this phone and I have never faced any issue while talking regarding sound quality .
The phone is easy to use and all options like phone, messaging, contacts are separately available and easy to understand . The phone is not very user friendly as it lags a lot and becomes unresponsive sometimes . I faced this issue a lot in my 4 years usage .
The phone has curved edges and comes in white and black colour . I have black colour model . Black model has a glossy look . It has a touchwiz user interface .
The phone has 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, supports microsd card upto 32 GB, 4 inch display size, 400*800 pixels resolution, runs on android jellybean(not upgradable). The phone has 2 MP rear camera with no flash . It's a dual sim 2g phone(no 3g support) . It does not have front camera and GPS support .
The phone being small in size feels good while handling . It's an average looking phone .
I strongly recommend everyone don't ever buy this phone . Though now it's price is less around 4000 but I will not recommend this phone ever to anyone . It's not value for money . We can't play any games in this, even if we try then it starts hanging and phone becomes slow as it has very less ram and processor is also not good . The camera quality is also not upto mark . Though it's a smartphone but it's only good for receiving phones . If you try to do any net surfing or messaging, the phone starts lagging and it's very frustrating . You can get many other good phones in this price range, don't go with this just because of brand .
