I want to share with you all my experience on using Samsung Galaxy S Duos. I recently bought this phone thinking that it is a product of Samsung, which is one of the leading smartphone manufacturer. Apart from that I also thought that since this phone is a dual sim phone both my sim cards will be in one phone, which will be convenient for me.
When I started using it, initially the phone was too good. But as the days passed by, I started to regret on buying this phone.
*FEW CONS-:
Touch-*
In the initial days of my use the phone's touch was amazing but later it became a pain. I started to hate the phone when the touch started to lag. I had to touch the screen back key thrice and only after that the screen went back once.
Not only the touch the phone as a whole hangs and lags alot. Its very slow and even slower when both the sim cards are inserted. Just imagine, if you are in an emergency and want to make an urgent call and you are using Samsung Galaxy S Duos. I am sure that you will have to wait for hours together for your contact list to open. Actually not hours, thats too much to exagerate, but hope you understand what I am trying to say.!
Battery-
Its has a worsts battrey backup(1500 MAH) I have to charge the phone atleast twice a day. And everytime I charge my phone either one of the two sim cards fail to register or my data pack. Again just continue imagining in that same situation, finally, your contact list open you made your call and your call was not complete simply because your sim card fails to register.! yes.! I have been caught in this kind of situation twice! And ofcourse I felt like throwing this phone. I am sure if u were in my place u would feel the same.!
Camera-
Yet another dissapointing quality about the phone is its camera quality. Beings a 5Mp camera the pictures are not up to the mark. Front camera is even more worst.
Other disadvantages-
The phone heats up too much while playing games or surfing internet. Also hangs alot while playing games, thus all the enjoyment and excitement about playing games goes in vain.
Albeit, it looks like yet another Samsung Galaxy S III. And has a 4.0 inch screen which makes one handed use more easy and comfortable and the sound quality of the speaker or hearphones is good and ofcoures is Android version 4.0 yet not match the expectations by Samsung phones.
*FEW PROS-: -(Did not find any.)
MY ADVICE-:*
I would not like to add about the other aspects of the phone in my review because a phone is basically to make or receive calls and at leisure to play games or listen to music. And when a phone fails to serve its basic requirement right, according to me anything else does not matter. And because the phone SERIOUSLY does fail in it, it tips the scale in the thumbs down direction.
Even though there are many positive reviews on this phone(only by those who used the phone for a few days), I would not recommend this model to anyone.
Thanks.
