It has been only a few days since I bought the Samsung RW (52-24-52) CD Writer and the thing has compelled me to write a favourable review about it. And there's a reason for that. It's simply the fastest and cool CD writer you can ever get. I've seen many CD writers of different brands at my friends' places. It usually takes about 4-5 minutes to write a full CD. But I was simply amazed when it took only a minute or so on mine. I think it's because of buffer memory. This CD writer has 8 MB of buffer memory as against only 2 MB in almost all other reputed brands like LG, Sony and HP.
Installation too was verrrrrry simple. Remove the old CD ROM, Insert the new one in its place, connect the wires and it works !!!! As easy as replacing a light bulb. It got detected immediately. The thing also comes with the popular Nero software for CD writing and Video editing. I'vent tried any video editing with it but I have used and liked very much the CD writing part of it. The interface is very user friendly and even a novice can write a CD at first go.
That's all about it for now. I'll certainly add more as and when I come across any new feature.
