Sorry guys, I know you people warned its going to be long , But you see I got a mind of my own, so I went ahead and watched this movie, with hubby ofcourse the best part of the movie was us (Me and my hubby in the corner seat). Ok now let me get serious about the movie.
I was dying to see more of John and Vidyas act as well as Govinda and Shannon Esra.Belive it or not it was just a mouthful of Tea, Coffee, Milk , Lime Juice , Ruafza and somewhere down the line lime juice got mixed with milk and coffee and curdlized. Ruafza got lost somewhere in the tunnel along with Tea .Can you catch a movie like this. I would like the story to enter through the apple of my eyes( My pupils) and stay in my memory forever.
Salman did some good dance sequences but when I came to acting both salman, Priyanka and Anil when ever they intersected it sounded like they were reading a byhearted script to each other. FEELINGS - oh yes I felt a lot for John and Vidya and then for Govinda and Shannon but their stories were not just enough. Govindas comic timing was really great. I was wondering what Sohail and Isha were doing. Some times I wonder if Isha and Priyanka are sisters they look alike , why doesnt Isha get better roles. Aishya was looking pretty but her talents were not well utilized in the movie.
Suddenly in between the movie my hubby innocently said that he did not understand whats going on, he wished we had gone for Guru. When people came out of the theater they were fatigued by 3 and half hour show. some looked puzzeled and clueless about what they had seen. I think it would have been better with three couples in stead of six. Akshay tried pathetically to be funny but I guess he failed some where as he was over enthusiasitic about the movie.Juhi had so little to do.. What a waste of such wonderful talent.
Ok I have done a lot of critisising.Let me recollect some things that I still recall and like the best.Govinda speaking to Shannon (stephanie) - Stephanie says ' Mein Late Jaingi' Govinda retorts with ' Aap Angrez jidar be reth dekthe ho, late jathe ho'And the final scene where Stephanie says , Sun Be, Uloo ke patee and stuff was cool comming out from the mouth of the babe.
John and Vidya - I liked the scene where John gets Vidya back to his ansestoral home to get her remember her past, the visio effects of the old home changing to a wedding house was just great.
If you go to this movie it will be just because of these two couples.And Sallu's dance numbers.
