Home Delivery We ordered home delivery from Sail Leela Family Garden, Sus Road, Pashan, last Friday. I was feeling too tired to cook and we were expecting company. Looking online I found justdial had so many places to order home delivery from and got over excited. My husband remarked when he saw Sai Leela that one of his colleagues had recommended it for seafood. Later, he changed his mind as it was not that colleague but a friend of that person who is vegetarian by the way! Anyway, we also consulted zomato and found that one person raved about Chicken Tikka Sukka.

What we ordered We choose 2 fish dishes and the above chicken.

  1. Chicken Tikka dry Rs. 120

  2. Fish curry

  3. Fish Rawa

The food was delivered rather later than we expected. It was quite so so. Some salad served along with it smelled rather bad next day even though kept in fridge. It also looked scary from the start as it had too many things(cabbage, sprouts, etc.). The dressing was too sharp to taste.

The chicken was nothing out of the ordinary but fulfilled the spicy quotient.

The fish dishes were both average. So much so that I removed all the boneless parts of the fish next day and made yummy cutlets with my own expertise.

The curry is still there into which I shall put brinjals and see if it can be salvaged.

Cost The total cost was something like Rs. 500 which may be cheap but no one wanted to really eat any of the 3 items. Thus, it was a total waste.

Low Cost and Well Liked Whatever my opinion it seems appreciated by online reviewers as a budget place to eat.

A No No for Me I will not visit or order from Sai Leela. Low cost does not mean bad food. There are many budget eateries which take pride in providing simple and homely meals.
